Interview With Kelly

Plush Mills founder, Kelly Andress, was recently interviewed by The Philadelphia Business Journal regarding the newest Sage property, Daylesford Crossing. Kelly tells the Journal how Sage approaches Senior Living differently by incorporating more of the hospitality industry into the properties. “We’re a cruise ship with a small hospital in it,” Kelly said. “The old model was simply a residential alternative to a nursing home.“

Kelly founded Sage Senior Living after spending years overseeing real estate projects and learning the business at Sunrise. The first properties she opened have been Plush Mills in Wallingford, Pa., and the Maples in Towson, Md.

Daylesford Crossing is located in Berwyn, Pa and just opened in August 2015.
